Frogs and Mario: Cross Dimensions

Written and Illustrated by Landon Swearengin

Chapter 1: Video Game Master

Frogort was a young frog who loved video games. One day when he was 3 years old, he got his first video game. It was titled “Super Mario Galaxy,” and he has loved it ever since. 5 years later, Frogort now at the age of 8 was sitting on a stool woven from moss playing his favorite video game. Which one exactly? Yep you guessed it! Super Mario Galaxy! With the biggest smile on his face, he played and played until his dad said “Frogort it’s time for bed.’’ Frogort paused his game and ran to the machine that he and his dad had created. They had designed it to look like a mario cannon. He got sucked inside and it shot him up to his bedroom. This was his favorite way to get to his room.

In the morning, Frogort went down to have breakfast. He got himself a bowl of cereal.

After he ate breakfast, he saw the schoolbus. “Dad, I’m leaving!” Frogort said. “Okay!” said his dad. Frogort left out the door and hopped onto the bus. He found himself a seat next to his friend named “Carnivorous The Bullfrog.” They spent time together playing on the bus until they got to school. School was one of Frogort’s favorite places, Amphibia Elementary. Just then when the bus arrived, the bell rang. He walked inside.

Chapter 2: Mysterious Mysteries

Frogort walked through the hall until reached his classroom. When he got there he realized something was wrong. There were warning signs hung everywhere. The teachers announced that school was closed because a deadly poison had taken over. Frogort looked around and saw there was a green slime covering the floor. He ran out of the room and went home as fast as he could. As soon as he knew he was safe, he went back to playing his game.

Suddenly, the TV fizzled out. Frogort went over to fix it but then realized the mysterious green slime was on his hands! He tried to shake it off, but the droplets landed on the TV screen. Zap! He found himself inside the game!
