Nudibranch is pronounced (NEW-dih-bronk).

They eat sea sponges and organic waste.

They are invertebrates. That means they do not have a back bone.

They sometimes have poisonous stingers on the tips of their hairs.

They come in bright colors to warn predators not to eat them.

They live in the ocean.

You can find them in tidepools. I have seen a Sea Lemon in a tidepool on the Oregon Coast.

My dad used to find them diving or exploring tidepools.

They can weigh up to 3.3 pounds!

Their lifespan is up to one year.

Nudibranchs are so cute!
