So Much Hard Work! Proud Mommy Moment by Mommy

Landon has been working on his first chapter book "Frogs and Mario: Cross Dimensions." This book will be the first in its series where he is combining his love of frogs with his favorite game characters. He has been working on the rough draft at school as part of a novel writing unit. Each night before bed, he has been sharing his progress and excitement about his progress. He brought it home today and is now typing it. This will not only be his first chapter book, but his first typed and printed book. Having a typed chapter book published is one of his goals for the upcoming year, and he is determined to make it happen. He has currently written 38 chapters and told me today "there are about 38 chapters left to go." This is such a cool and inspiring thing to watch. He tells me he can see the whole story in his mind and that it seems to "just flow" onto the pages. He says, "I can always come up with super cool chapter titles." So amazing, buddy! ❤️

I am so proud of his grit, determination, creativity, and passion for the things he loves. Landon never gives up. If he wants something, he works incredibly hard and persists even when a challenge becomes difficult or discouraging. From cello and ice skating, to writing, building and art, I am so amazed by his ability to persevere and make something incredible.

So proud of this little man and so happy for him to see his dream coming to life.
