It's Volunteering Day at the Animal Sanctuary!!!!

Today was a super cool day. We worked at the vegan animal sanctuary to help clear an area to make a mud pool for the pigs!

This is the gathering of the goats. They will do anything for scratches or pets.

Of course, the goats really wanted to help too!

We used rakes to take out the old hay.

They like to stand in the doorway and block our way of working. This is their way of saying "GIVE ME HUGS!"

We got lots of goat snuggles!

And an excuse to take a break for a bit.

The pigs love water in this heat! This is Sweet Pea. Her and Nigil share the area we were working on. He isn't in this picture because he was with the goats!

Everyone is so cute. CUTE GOATS!!!!!

This is Blitzen. He was sleeping in the barn while we worked on the pool for him.

This is Vegan the pig!

He is such a cute friend!

He was enjoying a nap too.

Once we got the old hay out, we got to make mud.

This is the big pig pond area. Vegan decided to go for a dip after he woke up.

Do you remember Marley Huckleberry? He is getting SO big and is so happy.

The sweet lambs are also starting to grow bigger too. Gracie is healing from her pneumonia. She is still on antibiotics but is doing better. She has been getting lots of love and care to help her feel better.

I really love them!

This week is the Art for the Animals auction. We are helping by putting up fliers around town and telling everyone we can. Please consider donating and spread the word! The sanctuary is so amazing and completely run with volunteers. We do so much good. Please help if you can!
