Today, one of my dreams came true. We started volunteering for the vegan animal sanctuary and are learning what a big difference we can make in these animal's lives. I am volunteering to help spread love and kindness for all types of animals. They have chickens, geese, turkeys, bunnies, horses, cows, pigs (both smaller pigs and huge pigs over 700 pounds), goats, and sheep. I will be specializing in helping take care of the goats, sheep, and larger pigs. They are so cute! We got to learn about each animal's name and all about their life leading up to the being rescued and given a safe place at the vegan animal shelter.
The sheep are so cute and funny.
And soft!
And the goats make me laugh. They are sweet and also naughty because they tried to eat my boots and coat. I got on the rocks so I could still pet them but from a distance from my boots. :)
This is Virgil the pig. He is close to 700 pounds and is so cute. He lives with 2 other big pigs and they are funny and cute.
The cows tried to lick me with their long tongues!
Here is Virgil saying hi to sweet little Huckleberry. He is a baby sheep and is so sweet! He was rescued after being abandoned after he was first born. He is very bonded to the people taking care of him at the sanctuary and is doing so well. He is the happiest and sweetest little guy in the world! He even has a sweet stuffed monkey toy that he loves to snuggle. PLEASE look below for a link for more about Huckleberry and how we can help him!
For Easter, there was even this cute little fairy house set up with bunnies inside.
Please consider sponsoring Marley Huckleberry Little Lamb at the link below. This sweet little guy is worth every penny!

We like that you are a volunteering at the animal sanctuary. My niece ,Pamela, volunteers at an animal rescue place in Idaho. Mostly cats and dogs. She walks the dogs and loves on them so the are not so frightened.
